I had the incredible opportunity to be part of EA's Premier League Futures Event, a fantastic initiative that offers young people, aged 18-24, who haven’t made it to professional football, a chance to explore other career paths within their passion for the sport—specifically within the EA Sports FC team. The program focuses on developing essential leadership and life skills, preparing participants for future roles in the football industry.
The day’s main project involved designing a football kit, with the winning design to be featured in EA FC 25. I had the privilege of being one of the technical designers who helped bring my team’s ideas to life. After finalizing the designs, the participants presented their work, and the winning kit was printed on physical football shirts that they could take home as a keepsake. I was even fortunate enough to have one with my name printed on it as a memento of this unforgettable experience.
It was truly inspiring to work with such driven, passionate young individuals, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to both inspire and be inspired by them. It’s an experience I will always cherish.
